Our History...

In 1923 J.S. Braddock Agency was started by Job Braddock.  His father, Edmund, was the President of Farmers Reliance at that time.  When Farmers decided to appoint their board members as agents, J.S. Braddock Agency was formed.

Stan Braddock (Edmund’s son) and then his son Lee Braddock, ran this agency until 1981.  Frank Gater took over as President from 1981 – 2000.  In 2000 we joined together with The Barclay Group and John A. Latimer became our President.  Because Braddock is ESOP owned, it remains a separate entity today.

The J.S. Braddock Agency has grown from a small office in Mr. Braddock’s home on Main Street in Medford with two employees to our current Medford and Burlington offices with a total of 30 employees.

Today, in partnership with The Barclay Group, we have grown to nine offices in four counties to become one of the biggest and most trusted Independent Insurance Agents in New Jersey.
